July 19, 2003: I just made this project yesterday evening, and thought it would be nice to publish it. So here is the site where to find it, and eventually updates or news.
..:: Concept ::..
AWTEnabler is a program that allows to enable some disabled GUI components. It is the same program as WindowsEnabler but for AWT and Swing components.
..:: Features ::..
First, AWTEnabler creates an additional window with a check box. When the check box is checked, AWTEnabler can enable disabled components by clicking on them.
AWTEnabler adds it's own queue to the GUI event dispatch thread, in order to process the mouse messages itself. Therefore, it is not guaranteed to work on programs that also play with the event queue (they are few I believe). It also cannot guarantee that the program will behave well when using normally-disabled components.
